Madonna Mystery Memoir Solved

Argh, I leave my post for 2 hours to take a walk down to the Brooklyn Bridge so I can check out the really cool steampunk looking Telectroscope and in my absence while I was looking through it at LONDON of all places, news breaks EVERYWHERE about the Madonna Memoir we were speculating about. The mystery is solved: Madonna’s brother, Christopher Ciccone, is writing a memoir about his sister, to be released in mid-July by Simon & Schuster with a first printing of 350,000, the publisher told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Published by Simon Spotlight Entertainment (SSE), the memoir entitled LIFE WITH MY SISTER MADONNA is based on Cicconne’s life and forty-seven years of growing up with and working with his sister. The book was written with Wendy Leigh and is scheduled for publication on July 15, 2008. Jennifer Bergstrom, Vice-President and Publisher of SSE, negotiated the deal with Fredrica Friedman of Fredrica S. Friedman & Co., Inc. Literary Management.
