Miramax Books Update, 10 AM, Wed.

Even as PW‘s headline reads, “Miramax Will Give It All Up To Hyperion,” the NY Post reports that the Weinstein brothers “are wooing Robert Weisbach, a veteran entertainment editor at Simon & Schuster, to be the new editor in chief of their new book unit.” (Check out the Post‘s photo, left, of Harvey giving books & book editors his special — as in special ed. — bedroom eyes.) Meanwhile, rumor has it that departing Miramax editor Jonathan Burnham “may take several authors with him from Miramax to HarperCollins, possibly including Tim Russert.”
