41RRuNKDNWL._SS130_.jpgUsing Amazon.com’s Most Highlighted Books of All Time list, we have uncovered the most popular Bible verses on Kindle. Yesterday we noted that Dan Brown‘s The Lost Symbol is more highlighted by Kindle users than the Holy Bible (NIV edition)–giving us a chance to explore the three most underlined verses.

John 3:16 has been underlined 157 times: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Proverbs 3:5 was highlighted 126 times: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Philippians 4:6 was underlined 125 times: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
