PW Daily reports that Brian Murray has been promoted to the position of president of HarperCollins worldwide. Murray’s been at the publisher for seven years now and most recently had the title of HarperCollins group president. In this newly created position, HC said Murray will work closely with CEO Jane Friedman in “identifying and directing the company’s worldwide growth.”
