Nevada Barr Jumps to Minotaur Books
Today Minotaur Books announced that they will publish three new books by Nevada Barr, bringing Barr’s popular Anna Pigeon mystery series to a new publisher in 2010.
According to Shots Ezine, St. Martin’s Press’ executive editor Keith Kahla and Minotaur Books publisher Andrew Martin handled the deal, and North American rights were negotiated by Dominick Abel. In all, Barr has published 15 books in the series about a National Park Service officer. The most recent title was “Borderline,” published in hardcover by Putnam.
Here’s more from her new publisher, Andrew Martin: “We are big fans of Nevada Barr’s and of her Anna Pigeon series here at Minotaur and I am absolutely delighted to be welcoming her onto our list … She is a star author with growing legions of fans and we can’t wait to publish her.” (Via SarahW)
