NSFW Title Keeps Erotic Fanfic Out of B&N

Over at the Seal Press blog, senior editor Brooke Warner reports that Barnes & Noble has decided it will not carry Fucking Daphne, a collection of “mostly true stories and fictions” in which writers imagine what it would be like to have a sexual encounter with San Francisco-based performance poet Daphne Gottlieb (right), when the book is published next spring.The decision, unsurprisingly appears to be based strictly on the title, based on Warner’s characterization of the rejection.
