Authors Christopher Sorrentino and Minna Proctor hold Minna's six-week-old son, Isaac, as the Donadio & Olson holiday party winds down last night. Many of the evening's other literary guests, including Soft Skull publisher Richard Nash and authors René Steinke and Sam Lipsyte, hovered around the little charmer once he awoke from his nap in one of those front-loaded harnesses parents are always wearing. But we also discussed book-ish matters as well, as when PW chief Sara Nelson and I compared notes on the industry's reaction to the Regan firing, or D&O agent Ira Silverberg ribbed me about what a scandal rag this blog has turned into since the start of 2006. (It's a fair cop, but society is to blame!)
