Publishing Job Board: Rodale Rocks

Even as employees try and squeeze the last drops out of summer vacation, a number of publishing houses are still hiring. In an effort to keep the GalleyCat community up-to-date, we will feature publishing jobs fresh off the mediabistro.com job boards.

For your resume-making pleasure, here are a couple new postings. First of all, Rodale has been scouting for a new Project Editor: “Rodale is seeking a Project Editor for our Books Division in our New York office. We are seeking someone to project manage 20 to 25 non-fiction book titles (specifically in cooking, health and fitness categories) annually from manuscript to bound book.”

In addition, Sheep Meadow Press, Stanley Moss & Co. are looking for a new Executive Assistant/Editor. Here’s more about the company: “We sell highly important Old Master paintings, mostly to museums.
