The Copyright case between Warner Bros. and Rowling against ADR Books and their Lexicon is now in the hands of "U.S. District Judge Robert Patterson Jr. [who] indicated that the case could go either way and encouraged both sides to settle. He suggested that a creative negotiation might produce a book that both sides could live with (AP). His suggestion to settle might be born from his belief that he found much of Rowling's books "gibberish - I couldn't remember the characters and lots of the terms". (Daily Mail)
Peter McKay at The Daily Mail "wondered what the reaction in the U.S. might have been if he'd said the same of Walt Disney, or some other American fantasist, if a British publisher brought out a lexicon explaining plots and characters." Feel free to leave us or him a comment on that.
