It's been less than a week since stock wizard Bernard Madoff was arrested, but both Random House and HarperCollins have already signed book deals about his alleged multi-billion dollar fraud.

Both books are slated for a 2010 release. At HarperCollins, journalist Andrew Kirtzman (who has appeared on WCBS and NY1 in New York) landed a deal for an "investigative work" about the scandal. At Random House, journalist Richard Behar (who has written for Time and Fortune) will write the Madoff book.
