Quick Update on the End of the World

wastelands-anthology-cover.jpgBack in April, we told you about Wastelands, an anthology of the best post-apocalyptic science-fiction published in the last twenty years. Now the book’s official website is up and running, including the complete texts of three short stories by M. Rickert, Cory Doctorow, and Richard Kadrey.

The anthology is slated for publication in early 2008 by Night Shade Books, and editor John Joseph Adams says he’s already moved on to his next project: a collection of zombie stories. He’s already assembling a list of suggestions at the Zombie Fiction Database.
