Rodale Books has a great job opening available this week for those with an interest in health and fitness. The company is looking for a new executive editor to join its New York team.

In this role, you’ll work with Runners World and Bicycling to develop book projects, in addition to acquiring titles independently. You’ll develop the publishing pipeline for branded and trade books, overseeing projects from concept to final printed product, and creating supporting marketing materials for each title. Naturally, you’ll also be expected to maintain relationships with writers and agents.

To be considered, you should have six to eight years of publishing experience, including non-fiction book and acquisition experience.
