San Diego Comic-Con Is Only a Month Away

Michael Cieply gives NY Times readers a sneak preview of San Diego Comic-Con, “the single most important promotional stop on Hollywood’s annual circuit of festivals, awards shows and star-studded selling opportunities.” Which is as good a time as any for me to inform you that while I won’t be going—my travel budget for 2008 went to BookExpo America—Tina Dupuy of mediabistro.com’s FishbowlLA will be reporting from the front lines, and if I think of it I’ll probably shoot an email with coverage requests for aspects that might be of particular interest to the publishing community.

Or maybe I’ll just ask for an interview with Elvis Trooper.
