Knopf chairman Sonny Mehta introduces author/illustrator Marisa Acocella Marchetto at the party celebrating the publication of Cancer Vixen, Marchetto’s “graphic memoir” of dealing with her breast cancer diagnosis. After Mehta’s speech, Paula Froelich of Page Six (looming in inset) added a few remarks of her own while Marchetto and Glamour editor-in-chief Cindi Leive (bottom right corner) looked on. Froelich also encouraged the guests, who packed Da Silvano and spilled out onto the sidewalk, to place bids in the silent auction of Marchetto’s artwork to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
