On the heels of James Stewart’s Disneywar comes Peter Lefcourt’s new novel, The Manhattan Beach Project. “Lefcourt’s book, which like Stewart’s is published by Simon & Schuster, includes real characters such as Eisner in the tale of a failed reality show,” Page Six reports. “Lefcourt’s agents at ICM are getting a lot of interest from Hollywood studios eager to turn the book into a movie, we’re told, though obviously Disney isn’t among the bidders.”
