Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg is working on a follow up to her bestseller Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead. The new book is called Lean In for Graduates and will go on sale on April 8th.
The book has been expanded and updated specifically with graduates in mind and includes six new chapters written specifically for graduating students who are entering the job market. “Graduating is one of life’s trickier transitions,” Sandberg explained in a press release, “and this new edition of Lean In aims to help guide and encourage women to step confidently into today’s workforce.”
The book includes resume how-tos written by executive coach Mindy Levy as well as tips on salary negotiation from expert Kim Keating. The book also features twelve stories of people who have “leaned in.”
Alfred A. Knopf publish the book. The company reported that it is printing 200,000 copies in its first printing.
