Sloane Crosley Sells Her Second Book

crosley1.jpegAuthor and book publicist Sloane Crosley has sold her second book to Riverhead, an essay collection entitled, Show Me the Doll.

According to Publishers Marketplace, Crosley will follow up her first collection of comic essays (I Was Told There’d Be Cake) with the new book in Spring 2010. The deal was brokered by Jay Mandel at the William Morris Agency, sold to Riverhead’s Sean McDonald.

Three different GalleyCat editors have chronicled Crosley’s rise from Vintage publicist to bestselling author: attending her book party, catching up with her publicist, and sampling her cake.
