Sourcebooks Sells Digital Titles on Smashwords

sourcebooks.jpgYesterday the digital publisher Smashwords launched a number of romance titles by Sourcebooks, including books by best-selling authors like Linda Wisdom, Donna Lea Simpson, and Amelia Gray.

The digital books will be sold at $6.99, published in nine eBook reading formats. Sourcebooks CEO Dominique Raccah explained that the Smashwords partnership will help the company experiment with DRM-free titles.

Check it out: “There is discussion surrounding DRM, and while partnering with Smashwords does not mean we endorse DRM-free across the board, it does mean that we’re open to exploring different possibilities to better serve our customers.”
