SuperHead-y

Amistad, the HarperCollins imprint that Edward P. Jones calls home, has added a new writer to its talent roster, Page Six reports: self-described hip-hop “whore” Karinne “Superhead” Steffans.

An insider describes Steffan’s tell-all — “and we mean all” — as “a cautionary tale for young women who think that life in the entertainment world is all roses and no thorns.” Steffans, who has also sold her rights for a movie, adds that “when someone asks, what have I gotten out of this, the answer is my self-respect by being honest and unafraid, and about $7.3 million.”
