Two nonfiction editors found more work recently. Matthew Inman has been named an editor at Hyperion and Brooke Carey has been promoted to an associate editor at Penguin Group (USA)’s Portfolio, Sentinel, and Current imprints.
Inman has worked as an associate editor at HarperCollins, editing titles that included Free Fall by Willam J. McGee and Brother, Can You Spare a Job? by Scott Bittle & Jean Johnson. At Hyperion, he will acquire nonfiction about business, politics, narrative, investigative journalism, and popular culture.
Carey joined Penguin in 2007 as an editorial assistant. She has worked on several titles, including The Weekend that Changed Wall Street by Maria Bartiromo and A Simple Government by Mike Huckabee.
