The Guardian & Legend Press Awards First Self-Published Book Prize

dinosaursUK newspaper The Guardian and Legend Press have given its first self-published book prize to Tom Moran for his work Dinosaurs and Prime Numbers.

The work was chosen from a number of entrants by a panel of judges including literary agent Andrew Lownie and Legend Press’ commissioning editor Lauren Parsons. Here is more about the book from Amazon: “Enter the mind of Walton Cumberfield, an amateur gas and electricity meter-reader who is about to discover a cow that is independent of the space-time continuum. The debut novel by comedian and writer Tom Moran, Dinosaurs and Prime Numbers is like nothing else you’ll ever read – beautifully bonkers and bizarrely brilliant. It has to be read to be believed.”

The new award will be given out monthly. Entries for June are now open and you can submit a title through June 18th. Follow this link to find out how to enter your book for consideration.
