There’s A Book In This Somewhere…But Does the Author Need It?

daily-coyote-sampler.jpgMy new favorite blog this week might just be Daily Coyote, where Shreve Stockton is posting photos of Charlie, an orphaned coyote she adopted earlier this year and has been raising at her Wyoming home since. Interestingly, the website deals with material from five months in the past; Stockton reserves current photos of Charlie, and stories of his development, for email subscribers who pay $5 a month for the privilege. She’s also selling calendars and high-quality prints… so I was about to suggest that some enterprising editor ought to see if Stockton’s interested in a book deal—she wrote Eating Gluten Free, so she’s got some experience with the biz already—but now I’m starting to wonder if she really needs the publishing industry’s help anyway. Depends on what the numbers are, I suppose…(Via Cute Overload)
