A San Francisco reader wandering around the Castro Theater emailed us about some photos of the JT LeRoy film poster currently up on display that show the sense of humor Palm Pictures is willing to have about the whole “barely adult male hustler turned writer turns out to be a middle-aged woman” thing…

And, yes, the quotation marks appear to be part of the actual design, not a film usher’s attempt at witty commentary.
