Wait, That Was a Real Interview?

Apparently that guy who called me last week saying he was a reporter for PRWeek and wanted to know what I thought about James Frey wasn’t kidding, because this week’s issue features quite a few perspectives on Frey. So what did I tell him?

“Hogan says that the Oprah reassurance ‘totally saved [Frey's] ass.’”

That’s not all I said, but it’s a lot catchier than the rest of my commentary, believe me. A certain anonymous agent dials back the snark to deliver plenty of insightful commentary on the fracas as well, and that really makes the piece worth checking out.
