Back in November, HarperOne, the all-inclusive spirituality division of the HarperCollins publishing conglomerate, quietly launched a new blog called Good Books in Bad Times. Now that it's got a solid inventory of posts, HarperOne is getting the word out, and the blog is described by associate marketing director Laina Adler as "designed for readers who are searching for thoughts, ideas, and wisdom from trusted sources to help them face life’s challenges." Naturally, that includes many of their own titles, such as In Praise of Slowness, The Green Collar Economy, or the international bestseller The Alchemist, but the site's creative team says that they'll be adding relevant books from other publishing companies to the mix soon. "We’ll gather submissions from booksellers, readers and other publishing people," so don't be shy about recommending your favorites.
