What Will J.K. Rowling Write Next?

College Humor published “7 Excerpts from J.K. Rowling’s New Books,” imaginary manuscripts written by the author in her post-Harry Potter life.

In the satirical piece, Rowling’s impersonator tries to craft a World War II novel, a science-fiction thriller, and a horror adventure. In the horror manuscript, the writer worries that “your most talented years are behind you” and “your career has peaked.”

The real Rowling has said in past interviews that she has been working on non-Potter stories. With the final movie hitting theaters in July, maybe now would be the time to give fans something new?
