Who’s Ready to Give “Kristen” a Book Deal?

Jeff Bercovici of Portfolio considers a book deal for Ashley Alexandra Dupre, better known as Eliot Spitzer‘s call girl, “Kristen.” Very few people seem to think it could happen, but then, industry wisdom also held that nobody would publish If I Did It or, if somebody did, it would tank. It’s like David Kuhn tells Bercovici: “As a publisher recently said to me, ‘There’s always one drunk on the road,’ so she may well end up with a book deal, and maybe even a big one.”
