Will Women Lead the eBook Revolution?

Last month, PCMag.com EIC Lance Ulanoff explained (at the 2:20 mark of this video) why he thought women would be the biggest readers on the iPad. Today, eBookNewser featured a Media Beat interview with Cosmopolitan editor Kate White–who also agreed that women will lead the eBook revolution.

Here’s an excerpt from the interview with mediabistro.com senior editor Donya Blaze: “I think women may not always be on the vanguard, but boy, have we proven that we can embrace the digital world. What was interesting for me was to hear that my Kindle sales for [my novel] Hush were really exceptional. We don’t have the time in life to putter around and the Internet makes us so much more efficient, digital makes us more efficient–we are all going to embrace that.”

Tune in to Media Beat on April 5th to watch the complete interview with White.
