Jonathan Butcher Associate Professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Cornell University Jonathan Butcher currently directs the Cardiovascular Developmental Bioengineering Laboratory in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University. He joined the department in July 2007 as an Assistant Professor. Prior to Cornell, Jonathan graduated in 2000 with a dual BS/MS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia, where he studied impact biomechanics at the automobile safety laboratory. Jonathan earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech in 2004, focusing on the mechanobiology of the aortic valve under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Nerem. He won the BMES 2009 Rita Schaffer Young Investigator Award for the unique way in which he has combined developmental biology with engineering for applications in regenerative medicine. Jonathan collaborates with researchers in several departments across campus as well as at the Cornell Veterinary College, Weill Medical School, and Guthrie Clinic in PA. He sits on the scientific committee for the working group for heart valve biology and tissue engineering within the Society for Heart Valve Disease.
Scott Crump Founder and Chairman of the Board, Stratasys Scott Crump has served as the Chairman of the Board since Stratasys' inception in 1988. He continues as full-time Chairman and Head of Innovation for Stratasys Ltd. He has also held the position of company CEO and president from 1988 to 2012. He was Chief Financial Officer from February 1990 to May 1997. Crump along with his wife Lisa H. Crump, a co-founder of Stratasys, invented Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology. From 1982 to 1988, Crump was co-founder and Vice President of Sales at IDEA, Inc., which later changed its name to SI Technologies, Inc. Crump continued to be a director and shareholder of the company until its sale to Vishay Intertechnologies, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) in April 2005. Crump is a registered engineer.

Bill Foster Congressman, 11th Congressional District of Illinois Congressman Bill Foster is a scientist and businessman representing the 11th Congressional District of Illinois. He previously served from March 2008 until January 2011 as the Representative of the Illinois 14th Congressional District. Bill's scientific career was as a high-energy physicist and particle accelerator designer at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab). Bill was a member of the team that discovered the top quark, the heaviest known form of matter. He also led the teams that designed and built several scientific facilities and detectors still in use today, including the Recycler Ring, the latest of Fermilab's giant particle accelerators. When Bill first ran for Congress, his campaign was endorsed by 31 Nobel Prize Winners.

Isaac Katz Electronic Art Boutique Isaac Katz was born in Mexico City where he remained for most of his early schooling. After a year of traveling abroad he graduated from the celebrated University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts with a degree in Animation and Digital Arts. After graduation Isaac pursued a different path, working in finance at a hedge fund in New York City for a couple of years. After that he decided to pursue his true passion and calling; bringing the medium of electronically created art and design to new heights with a new line of jewelry, sculpture and art. Blending technically sophisticated computation with the intuitive eye of an artist, he now has a retail store in Mexico City with plans to expand internationally by the end of the year. Isaac is a pioneer in simulation-based design and in its application to create physical products via 3D printing technology. Isaac has exhibited internationally, most notably in New York City at ArtExpo, at the Cleveland Ingenuity Fest and in his own gallery in Mexico City. He has collectors from the USA, Mexico and Israel.

Hod Lipson Associate Professor, Cornell University Hod Lipson is the program chair for Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo. He is an associate professor and the director of the Creative Machines Lab at Cornell University. He coauthored the book, Fabricated: The World of 3D Printing, which was published February 4 by John Wiley & Sons.

Dr. Conor MacCormack Co-founder & CEO, Mcor Technologies Ltd As former site manager for a 5th Framework European project with Airbus, principal investigator with SPS Technologies in the US in the aerospace sector, and with a PhD in mechanical engineering, Dr. MacCormack co-founded Mcor Technologies with his brother, Fintan, in 2005. Their vision was to democratize innovation by creating a set of accessible tools based on paper-based Selective Deposition Lamination (SDL) technology that would provide the freedom to innovate in an unlimited way. Dr. MacCormack has served as Mcor CEO since 2007, during which time the company has run a very lean operation, launched industry-changing products, won national competitions and industry awards and generated worldwide recognition and demand. Previously, Dr. MacCormack worked as a consultant with such notable companies as Boston Scientific, ABS Pumps, Aisle Master, Mantis Cranes, Tanco Autowrap, Keenan Systems and Dromone Engineering.

Scott McGowan Vice President of Marketing, Solid Concepts Inc. Scott McGowan built a career in marketing communications and branding in the business to business arena. McGowan joined Solid Concepts in 2007 as the Director of Marketing to overhaul the marketing and branding efforts to clearly communicate a complex product offering. He headed the efforts of creating the rapid prototyping off-shoot company, ZoomRP.com, a self service 3D printing website that is now a successful enterprise. He led the creation of new marketing collateral and a new Solid Concepts website that remain unmatched in the industry, and developed marketing strategies to fuel Solid Concepts sales organization with quality prospects. As a marketer, he is proactive in knowing what is going on within the company, and brings those stories to the public, translating for the media what the company does. He places a strong emphasis on uniformity within the Solid Concepts brand and keeps the brand relevant.

Christopher O’Dea Contributing Editor, Korn Ferry Institute’s Briefings on Talent & Leadership Chris is Contributing Editor of Korn Ferry Institute’s Briefings on Talent & Leadership, concentrating on manufacturing, technology and innovation. He serves on the Dean’s International Council of The University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy, which encompasses the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and The Harris Energy Policy Institute, a collaborative research initiative with Argonne National Laboratory.
Ralph L. Resnick President & Executive Director, National Center for Defense Manufacturing & Machining (NCDMM) and Founding Director, National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute (NAMII) Ralph Resnick joined the National Center for Defense Manufacturing & Machining (NCDMM) in September 2008 as Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, and Director, Corporate Development. A professional with over 35 years of manufacturing experience, Mr. Resnick is responsible for providing technical leadership within NCDMM, promoting its mission with external stakeholders and adding new insight to the NCDMM business strategy. Mr. Resnick attended Bucknell University and was a design and project engineer for several leading machine control manufacturers.
Cydni Tetro Entrepreneur in Residence, Disney Cydni Tetro consults with Disney on technology commercialization including 3D print projects such as D-TechMe. Over the course of her career she has helped dozens of startups successfully build, launch, sell and market new products and services. She has served as CEO of a media company, was COO for FamilyLink.com, a social network for families with over 80 Million users, which was the fastest growing website in the country during her time. Prior to that she was CMO/co-founder for NextPage where she directed the strategy and execution of NextPage’s product and marketing initiatives. She has been recognized as a v100 Top Venture Entrepreneur, in the Utah Business 30 Women to Watch and was a Finalist in the Stevie Awards for Top Women Entrepreneur. She has her MBA and BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.

Mike Vasquez Additive Manufacturing Technology and Material Specialist Dr. Mike Vasquez is an Additive Manufacturing specialist experienced in pushing the boundaries of advanced 3D printing technology. He has worked side-by-side with some of the top machine manufacturers, material producers and end users in the industry, consulting with them to identify novel applications, test new materials, and develop frameworks to maximize R&D efficiency and boost ROI. During his career, Mike has worked with companies including 3M, Burton Snowboards, New Balance and Easton. He has published several technical papers and articles on 3D printing and has spoken extensively on the subject. Currently, Mike advises companies on how to best approach, integrate, and expand the technology to meet their business objectives. Mike completed his PhD at Loughborough University in the UK specializing in Additive Manufacturing and Sports Technology. He received his BS/M.Eng from MIT in Materials Science and Engineering.
