||WeWork is looking for a motivated and passionate Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team. This person will work in our downtown office to take ownership and drive our social media and community engagement across a variety of platforms.
Candidates must have excellent writing skills and a strong interest in startups, small businesses and technology.

Plan, create and schedule fresh, engaging content for all social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram and Google+
Work closely with the Editorial Director to make sure all social and community activity is aligned with WeWork's editorial calendar and marketing strategy.
Monitor conversations on social media sites and work with the Marketing and Community Management team to manage responses in real-time.
Establish and execute strategic social strategies and campaigns for new locations, events and brand partnerships.
Research and develop social media marketing plans to drive traffic, build brand awareness and ultimately foster a positive engaging community online for our members.
Participate in a wide variety of events for content creation and act as a brand ambassador.
Reach out and network with influencers and bloggers for social media promotions, features and events.
Work with WeWork's community managers to share noteworthy members and events related to each location.
Identify trends and new features in social media to help us stay ahead of the curve.
Self-starter, proactive individual with strong organizational skills
Understanding of social media and experience using all of the major platforms
Familiarity with social media tools such as Facebook Insights, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
Strong writing and communication skills
Interest in entrepreneurship, small businesses, and technology
Have a passion for what we do at WeWork
Have an eye for design and photography, including keen instinct on what’s on brand
Must be able to work in New York, NY
At least two years experience managing multiple social media channels concurrently
Personality-driven writing with a strong voice
Published writing examples
Experience with contests, polls, special promotions, and social media marketing is a plus
Photoshop and/or InDesign skills
