? Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field.
? Must possess expert knowledge and technical understanding of social media networking channels including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.
? 1-3 years experience of professional social media or PR experience.
? Proven writing/blogging skills.
? Familiarity with measurement/analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook/Twitter analytics.
? Excellent project management skills and experience with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
? Excellent verbal, writing, and proofreading skills.
? Positive, professional, team-player attitude.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator a plus).

||Dwight School is seeking a self-directed, energetic, and collaborative individual to be a Communications Assistant beginning in September 2014.
? Develop and implement social media strategies and plans that facilitate and are integrated with Dwight’s strategic goals.
? Write for, contribute to, manage, and grow Dwight’s Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, and other social media sites frequently.
? Work closely with Associate Director of Communications to develop timeline of posts and content.
? Report monthly on insights gains from social media to monitor success/analytics.
? Research social media trends for education and incorporate them into social media for Dwight.
? Work with Associate Director of Communications to ensure proper messaging is executed online.
? Help maintain a reader-friendly, accurate, updated, and visually-pleasing website for Dwight.
? Take photos as needed and post all photos in relevant digital albums (Web, Facebook, Shared Drive).
? Produce and send weekly Monday Mailer.
? Help produce and send “Push Pages” from faculty and administration (email system).
? Organize and manage electronic video/photo library.
? Organize and manage online, electronic, and hard copy media clippings archive related to Dwight School.
? Produce and update content for hallway plasma screens.
? Help manage and design top-quality bulletin board displays around the school.
? Ensure that all communications between the school and the public meet standards of consistency and school values as shown in Style Guide.
? Help with events for Dwight School when needed.
