Fandango is looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager reporting to Senior Director of Marketing to drive and implement social media strategy and best practices for Fandango and Movies.com. This position will be responsible for social media efforts from a strategy, execution and analysis perspective. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Implement social media strategy and best practices across various platforms and social communities (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, Youtube, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) * Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Given our business, weekend work will be required. * Develop and implement creative and highly measureable social media programs and campaigns. This includes planning an editorial calendar, creating content, and copy writing to support that calendar. * Own the acquisition of fans and followers on different social channels and drive paid and organic programs to grow our fans and followers * Develop and maintain relationships with key bloggers and other influencers. Keep updated/current lists of those influencers across multiple categories. * Lead app development on social media channels to drive and engage customers * Own and update social media dashboard across both brands and report success and lessons learned. Actively "listen" to the social media community and regularly report on findings. * Identify opportunities, trends and features in the social media space. Justify investments in new social media trends through business metrics and optimization and testing across brands. * Work with the Product team to support the integration of social features across our sites * Establish, track and assure adherence to budgets, launch schedules, campaign and marketing objectives * Other duties as defined by the Director of Social Media

* Bachelor's Degree required * Prior entertainment industry experience required * 4-6 years marketing experience, in the social media space * In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Tumblr, Pinterest, blogs, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios * Experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms such as Omniture, Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights, Google Analytics, and Twitter Analytics * Experience running, measuring and optimizing paid programs on Facebook, using their latest ad products and on Twitter, using promoted products. * Able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentiality. * Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at the company's sole discretion. * Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed (during crunch times!) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
