Jill Becker

Professional/Personal Overview
For various assignments over the last two decades, I have tiptoed through the tulips with Tiny Tim and played hoops with the Harlem Globetrotters, barged the canals of southern France and shanked golf balls in the Dominican Republic. Currently the editor of bimonthly travel magazine, I work a regular 9 to 5, but I still freelance on the side, so whether you need someone to pull together some clever copy, punch up your tired text, or simply make sure that all of your i's are dotted and t's are crossed, just give me a jingle.

Other
- I have participated as a speaker and/or panelist at numerous industry-related events, including two Bulldog Reporter audio panels with audiences of 200-plus.

- I have a lot of stamps in my passport (I used to work for an inflight magazine after all!), so travel is a favorite subject, but I can write on just about anything, whether it's health or high fashion, celebrities or corporate strategy. I can write in just about any style, too, although I have a particular flair for humor. I'm also a great researcher (fact-checkers love me!), and I understand the importance of meeting deadlines.
Freelancer Availability
I occasionally freelance. I live near Atlanta, GA. I am willing to travel anywhere. I have a driver's license. I have access to a car.
