Job Requirements NewBay Media LLC, an internationally recognized media and events company in the B2B entertainment technology industry is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Trade Show/Events Manager to build existing events and launch new ones. Position is located in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities include overall management of multiple events including Digital Video Expo and Government Video Expo, and identifying new event opportunities in related markets. Successful candidate will lead strategy, develop new business opportunities, forge relationships, drive content, manage vendors, excite customers, collaborate with sales to develop new revenue streams, and create and execute show plans on time and on budget. This is a hands-on position, requiring both big picture perspective and roll-up-your sleeves capabilities, working on large and small events. Must be a team player, skilled budget manager and negotiator, obsessive planner and creative/strategic thinker that is self-motivated, confident, hard working and enthusiastic.

5+ years experience in a similar position required, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer-service orientation. CMP certification strongly preferred. Some travel is required.
