Job Requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create approximately 30 digital banners per month featuring collection styles, as well as electronic press kits and other digital and print copy materials as needed
• Day-to-day management of the Brand social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest
• Develop content for Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest around Brand messaging
• Manage the CEO's professional and personal schedules, booking travel and appointments
• Organize CEO's receipts and bills to be forwarded to Controller on a weekly basis
• Assist the CEO where needed in operational/administrative tasks

QUALITIES OF IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Must be entrepreneurial, versatile, and willing to take on tasks and responsibilities as business needs change
• Must be motivated and self-directed, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Must be trustworthy and responsible
• Interest in fashion and eye for design is a must

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS
• Working knowledge of Wordpress and the ability to implement basic HTML/CSS updates on the company website

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 2-3 years working in Graphic Design, Social Media/Digital Marketing, Fashion, Advertising, or PR
• Strong background in graphic design, preferably in fashion or e-commerce, with the ability to handle volume efficiently and meet deadlines
• Strong proficiency in social media strategy including growing social media audiences and developing copy and visual content for social media around Brand messaging
• Mastery of Adobe CS and developing content in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
• Experience working in Microsoft Office and developing content in PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Must be based in New York City

About Our Company Fast Growing Global Women's Fashion Brand Seeking Graphic Design & Social Media Assistant

As a graphic design and social media assistant with our company, you will be working closely with the Designer/CEO in a fast-paced, exciting start-up environment with tremendous room for growth. You will be responsible for creating graphic design collateral, managing the brand's social media presence across platforms, and handling administrative and operational duties in support of the CEO. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. As the administrative point person for the CEO you will be responsible for managing the CEO's schedule, coordinating meetings, and booking travel arrangements. We are seeking a bright, ambitious, entrepreneurial rising star who is looking for a career, not a job. This is an independent contractor position based in New York City with your time split between working with the CEO in her office and working from home.
