Job Requirements POSITION SUMMARY:

The Creative Project Manager works closely with the Account Management and Creative/Editorial teams to ensure client expectations and creative deliverables are adhered to. Create and maintain project timelines for specific programs and push the project through the planned workflow from start to finish. Help maintain workflow and resourcing to ensure work runs through the creative process efficiently and smoothly. Collaborate with project management peers on Digital Studio teams and with other accounts to get the most out of shared staff resources in specialized disciplines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: College degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field. PMO Certification desired.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager with agency background (marketing, creative, advertising, PR, digital, social, etc.), managing creative workflow for both traditional and digital elements. Knowledge of or direct experience with creative resource management in complex, fast moving environments. Needs to be proactive, self-motivating, high attention to detail, with a calming approach.

Skills:
Detailed-focused and highly organized.
Computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint. Project and/or project management software, services, or tools is desired but optional.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Partner internally with other disciplines and teams to funnel projects through the agency
- Create, maintain, and route timelines
- Help determine how projects overlap and if they need the same resources
- Alert teams when changes occur that put program deliverables in jeopardy of missing due dates
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Maintain flexibility to manage uncertainty, rapid change, ambiguity and surprises
- Assign creative resources according to their expertise and help balance workloads
- Work with Account Management to help determine order of priorities
- Create overall status report and conduct status meetings
- Set and focus on process. Follow, adapt and develop processes to gain efficiencies in the workflow
