Job Requirements: Photography Services, Public Affairs seeks a candidate for position of Senior Photographer. In this position, the employee will be responsible for various duties, such as the taking and processing of photos in print and digital formats. The candidate will also be expected to schedule other photographers for various jobs.
The following is required of the candidate:

A minimum of 4 years experience as a professional photographer
Respond to emergencies system wide on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis
Posses a valid Driver's License
Be familiar with Con Edison Service Territory
Expert knowledge of digital photography, and its various common formats: Raw, Tiff, jpegs
Advanced skills in Photoshop CS5, Leaf Capture Phase One, Canon Digital Photo Professional software
Pro Knowledge of Mac and PC function and interface with digital camera
Expertise in Adobe Bridge, Light room, Aperture
Expert knowledge in color correction, scanning and printing
Familiar with color theory and its practical application to traditional and digital photography - and laboratory work, e.g. color balance, filtration in photography, and color matching with digital workflow

Advanced skills in and professional knowledge of most popular lighting systems and digital cameras.
Expertise in setting up shoots that require complex lighting situations, capability to be creative and improvise under pressure.
Be comfortable with and in making others comfortable in new and varied situations

Switch work modes from unsupervised under deadline pressure to contribute to a team effort environment and back if necessary.
Contribute to and work with both in-house and contract creative teams including print and web designers and writers.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills

In addition to above skills, candidate will be asked to present portfolio of photography work showcasing work.

Physical Requirements: The employee is to perform these duties in a safe work mode and in compliance with all environmental policies and procedures. The selected candidate must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions and do extensive walking, climbing and standing. Must be medically qualified to wear a respirator. Also, there may be pulling and lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
