The Brand Manager reports to the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and will be responsible for assisting in the strategic development and implementation of brand initiatives ensuring a smooth workflow across all internal departments. Brand initiatives include but are not limited to overseeing creative assets for TV production and online video. This position is an ideal opportunity for a mid-level marketing professional who is capable of managing the day-to-day workflow of a successful, highly awarded and evolving national youth brand.
•Manage the creation and development of brand initiatives, implement and monitor advertising production, media planning and placement.
•Manage advertising agencies on a day-to-day basis
•Evaluate and manage added value media opportunities.
•Manage budgets and conduct ongoing analysis to seek efficiencies
•Interpret research, analyze the feasibility of new marketing ventures, conduct competitive scans and gain in-depth knowledge of target and marketplace conditions
•Manage and provide strategic guidance on new brand initiatives with constantly evolving youth target
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments including Communications/ PR, Legal and Research
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and five to seven years of marketing experience in advertising or consumer brand marketing, ideally on a national youth brand. Strong account/creative management & planning experience is required. Individual must be proactive, creative, a relationship builder and a strong leader. Individual must have high attention to detail and able to work in a fast paced environment. Individual must be a high-energy professional, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a team environment.
