EMMY AWARD WINNING WRITER!
As a three-time Emmy award-winning multi-media freelance writer/t.v.reporter/producer I've been published in The New Yorker, The Boston Globe, ABCNEWS.COM, Town & Country TRAVELER, Islands Magazine, US Airways in-flight, Hemispheres, etc.
I can cover everything from hard news to travel to luxury lifestyle, celebrity and entertainment. I've been embedded as a war correspondent in Afghanistan and I've covered the most luxurious resorts in the world as a travel writer.
My book, TRAVEL THERAPY is coming out in April of 2009, and I'm also the creator and editor of the TRAVEL THERAPY website and blog, www.traveltherapytrips.com. Next up...a television series based on the concept.
I've also worked as an on-air correspondent for CNN and top market FOX, NBC and ABC affiliates across the country.

What do you wish you'd learned sooner?
To never settle on a job just because it's "safe" and to always go after what I'm passionate about.
Describe your dream assignment
Traveling the world reporting for television, print and online.
What book is on your nightstand right now?
Nelson Mandela's LONG WALK TO FREEDOM
What's the hardest work project you've ever tackled?
Setting up to be the first journalist ever embedded with troops in Bosnia. A close second, is setting up to be the first reporter ever embeddded with a combat apache helicopter unit in Afghanistan.
What's the best job you've ever had?
The one I have now. Traveling the world and writing a book and working on creating a television series.
What's your idea of a perfect Saturday night?
Finding myself in a new destination discovering new people, places and things, and if a fabulous glass of wine is involved even better!
What's your idea of a perfect Monday morning?
Waking up in a new place that I've never visited before and knowing I have the entire day to explore.

I've worked as a television reporter/writer/anchor/host in newsrooms across the country including the national news level. I've also worked as a multi-media luxury lifestyle writer, writing for television, magazines, newspapers and online. I've designed several websites and blogs and I have won an Emmy for my blogging and online content. I've traveled to more than 32 countries and I can write anything from hard news to feature, in print, online or television format.
