Upbeat, versatile writer with seven years copy/content editing experience. First book published in Jan. 2006, second publishing in Sept. 2007.
I can write for virtually any audience on any topic but my specialties are parenthood, military (active duty and spouse related), e-commerce, and eBay. Articles published this year range from how moving military children really affects them, to analyzing online shopping trends throughout the holiday season. This year I have copy edited and typeset eight books; re-written a how-to book for U.K. readers; and co-authored two books.
I have covered live events with immediate deadlines, but also worked on feature projects requiring detailed research and interviews.
My flexible writing style ranges from satirical British commentaries to strictly factual press releases. I adapt to house styles quickly and my copy editing experience makes reviewing my work a little easier on editors. |

"Reading this concise and well-organized book is just like having some-one standing next to you, guiding you step-by-step through the selling process. It answers every question without giving more information than you need. It is an extremely helpful resource... "

(AuctionBytes, 6/20/2005)
This is a sample of the Consignment Corner column I write for AuctionBytes. The editor emails me press releases from each of the companies and my task is to pull out relevant information, remove the hype and present it in short, strictly factual paragraphs.
