Actual Email I Wrote to Allure Yesterday
Dear Editor:
I rarely am excited by the covers of magazines I receive but I was so happy to see Ellen Degeneres on the cover of this month’s Allure. No matter how lovely they might be, female comedians for some reason get short shrift when it comes to getting face time in women’s magazines. I’d much rather see the women of Saturday Night Live in a large spread over the women of Desperate Housewives any day.
