Be Polite to the People Who are Not Your Agents

Writers have high points and low points. We think we’re the isht one day, and then nobody loves us the next. When you’re feeling like the latter, don’t assume that it’s true–just because you haven’t heard from an agent after sending her your manuscript doesn’t mean she’s not reading it. If you’re signing with an agent, be polite and alert the other candidates. (Miss Snark)
