Ride Out the Ups and Downs of Publicity

When I published my small book with a small publisher, I had dreams as I sent out my press releases. I had dreams that editors would be blown away by my small book and would write "a mini tour de force from an unexpected source!" or something. That was lame. It didn't happen. That made me sad.

I wish I had read Tom Ciesielka's tips on what happens when your PR lets you down--and how to pick yourself back up.
