Should you show your article to your interview subject prior to publication? Just imagine how delightful it would be if your editor and the subject have two different ideas of how the piece should look and I think you’ll know the answer.
Is it important to get the editor’s name when pitching? When it’s the difference between taking five minutes to call up to find the right person versus just guessing, it does look nice.
