Can’t afford Writers Market? Duotrope‘s Digest of Fiction Fields offers “a database of over 850 current markets for short fiction and poetry. Use this page to search for fiction markets that may make a fine home for that short story or poem you just finished.” It’s kind of a cool machine but seems a bit limited–I’m not completely sure what the pay scale categories mean and I’m a little confused by the genre. They don’t include children’s or Young Adult but do offer ‘slipstream’? At any rate, you can’t beat the price.
