Elizabeth Spiers says that bloggers don’t need regulation: we have our own standards. Blow by blow, she takes on the “whiny clichè -ridden editorial” by Adam Cohen in the Times. To wit:
Cohen: Bloggers are so used to thinking of themselves as outsiders, and watchdogs of the LSM (that’s Lame Stream Media), that many have given little thought to what ethical rules should apply in their online world.
Spiers: Who are these “many” who have “given little thought”? Is that a Lame Stream Overgeneralization or just Lame Stream Solipsism?
