This website has some ideas on how to get out of writer;s block. Some of the ideas are a little unorthodox:

Talk to a monkey - Explain what you're really trying to say to a stuffed animal or cardboard cutout.

Add one ritual behavior - Get a glass of water exactly every 20 minutes. Do pushups. Eat a Tootsie Roll every paragraph. Add physical structure.

Make a pointless rule - You can't end sentences with words that begin with a vowel. Or you can't have more than one word over eight letters in any paragraph. Limits create focus and change your perspective.

This makes me happy though because then I can suggest some of my ideas:

Get drunk (and write about it!)

Start a right (and write about it!)

Eavesdrop on public transportation (and write about it!)

Steal and object from someone's home (and write a story that includes it!)

Write about a very intense, personal, embarrassing secret a friend told you and just change the names.
