When I originally skimmed this article by Jennifer Brown Banks, I thought it was providing some outlets for poets to sell their work, which seemed intriguing, since I feel like I've yet to meet a person who's made money from poetry (not that that makes it any less of a medium.) However, turns out, you can sell your poetry, as long as it's of the "Roses are red, violets are shy, hope you bounce back from your colostomy." Not that there isn't money in greeting cards. You probably just won't be able to sell your sonnet about your rough childhood to BlueMountain.com (unless it's for Mother's Day. Ha ha!)
Anyway, read on and find a pretty good greeting card market guide here.
