How to Pitch: Imbibe

imbibe.jpgParty. Chrys Wu writes, “Imbibe, which debuted earlier this month, aims to be ‘your guide to all that’s fit to drink.’ The magazine focuses primarily on cocktails, wine, spirits, liquor, coffee and tea, but basically, if you can drink it, you can pitch it, says senior editor Kate Darling.” Be specific with your pitches. The sections Features, Characters, Mix it Up, Gear, The Real Deal, Elements and Quench (phew!) are all open to freelancers. Don’t pitch other sections, and don’t pitch unless you have some food or drink-related clips.
