How to Pitch: The Wall Street Journal’s Weekend Journal

weekend.bmpOoh, I love today’s How to Pitch, because I love today’s publication. The Wall Street Journal’s Weekend Journal always makes me feel so cool and intelligent and in-the-know. It makes me feel like I’m secretly wealthy, only nobody knows it yet.
Anyway, Rebecca Onion chats with the section’s editor Amy Stevens about freelance opportunities for y’all at the section. It is a toughie. If you’ve written for the WSJ before, that’s a good start. If not, try Takeoffs & Landings and the Details section. You have to have had serious writing experience, though, so this is a near-impossible one if you’re a newbie. The good news, though: freelance opps with the section sometimes lead to job opps.
Excuse me while I go put away my Louis Vuitton trunks.
